Sono stati annunciati oggi, 12 luglio, i candidati alla 75esima edizione degli Emmy Awards in una cerimonia virtuale presentata da Yvette Nicole Brown, attrice nominata agli Emmy, e da Frank Scherma, presidente della Television Academy. Uno dei più grandi eventi del mondo del cinema che dal 1949 premia il lavoro di attori, registi, produttori, sceneggiatori e di tutti gli addetti ai lavori, nella sua edizione del 2023 si terrà con tutta probabilità il 18 settembre, ma come riporta “Cnn”, la data potrebbe subire variazioni a causa dell’attuale sciopero indetto dal sindacato “SAG/AFTRA” degli sceneggiatori.
In questa edizione anche due nomi italiani, Sabrina Impacciatore e Simona Tabasco, candidate, entrambe con “The White Lotus”, per la categoria di attrice non protagonista in una serie drama, ma anche nomi come Rihanna per Miglior “Variety Special” (live) e Pedro Pascal per “The Last of Us”.
