Because his “Together, Together” tour—which he’s taking around the world and which has already earned him a record at Wembley thanks to his 12 consecutive nights there—is set to return for thirty nights at an iconic venue in the world of music: Madison Square Garden.

Thirty dates are no walk in the park for anyone. But for Harry Styles, it’s a feat he can pull off. And yesterday, August 26, 2026, Harry kicked off the first date of his U.S. tour, performing all his biggest and most beloved songs, starting with those from his latest album, “Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally.” It was an excuse to enjoy some good music, to dance and kiss—to quote the name of his album—but also to remember that the journey to get to this point can never be taken for granted. And Harry knows this. He achieved success as a young boy—so much so that at age 18, in 2012, he performed on the very stage of the MSG in New York with his bandmates from One Direction. And it was precisely that pivotal moment in his life that Harry wanted to mention and reflect on during his first live show in New York: “I had the great privilege of performing in this building for the first time when I was 18. There’s a man who works here—and who was working here back then, too—who told me that when I got out of the car that day, I kissed the floor and said, ‘I made it; I’ve arrived at Madison Square.’” Harry made it, that’s true, and perhaps that’s what sets him apart from the rest: never forgetting the essence of his dreams. The ones that have led him, over the years, to become one of the greatest in the world.
